i bought an xbox 360 from a guy and it powers up the dashboard is functional but the disc drive doese not respond and it looks like someone opened it and the drive is missing parts i would like to replace the drive but i read that there is some computer flashing/progaming involved and well i just dont know where to start or what i need.

my xbox 360 turns on and goes to home page runs great
every time i put any type of disc in it does not read them
it will say "reading" then all of the sudden just go back to "open tray"

how would you fix this.... my 360's tray came off the gears... so i took the tray out and the loose gears rolled out???
